I won! I won! :-D

  • Mood: Whooohooo I made it!
I finished last night with 51,392 words.   I wrapped up the major plotline though I'd like to add a few more scenes to make it more complete.

Grand total of Grande White Chocolate Mochas consumed for entire month: 8
Total number of dinners used used as treats during month: 4

What I learned:
1. Keep writing even if you only write 200 words that day. The next day is going to be better.

2. When the Muse is on a roll, go with it because she might leave any second.

3. Editor Muse needs to be quiet for a while so I wrote this in longhand in two journals. If I sit at the computer, Editor Muse tends to stay.

4. Though I had a basic outline in my head, the muse added more scenes. Even added a new character that will play a part in the sequel to this one.

5. Write no matter how horrible the sentence looks or sounds, you can edit it later.

It was a rough ride especially through week 2, but I caught up during week 3 then went past my goal in the beginning of Week 4. I'm happy I finished two days early. Now I can sleep well.   I'd like to participate in NaNoWriMo 2006, maybe even get this second sequel to Sub Rosa finished. Now onto editing this novel and writing more on GX: Sub Rosa.

Take care,
MSR
