Thank you Chris and the entire team! I never thought I'd ever get a novel finished within a deadline. I've set so many deadlines and not once have I even gotten close. It was always that pesky Editor Muse that was holding everything up. This time that Editor Muse got scared away. I usually write in front of the computer, but it always took more time then when I wrote in a journal. Sometimes I wrote in my journal then transferred it. Other times, it's the blank screen staring at me for days at a time.
Now, I've got the confidence that I can meet a deadline and write no matter how crappy the sentences looked, I could edit it later. It became fun again to write! This was the best time I've had writing. Thanks for the encouraging emails, Chris, I know I needed them.
I plan to do this next year.
Congrats to everyone who participated, no matter if you crossed the 50K line or not!!!! Looking forward to next year and maybe I'll get to finish a rough draft of this sequel to this NanoNovel. I'm still working on the original, but I got the sequel finished!
